<sub>Aurum grew up with chemists as parents (which resulted in her science-y name). In her younger days, she spent most of her time with her younger cousins, Argentium Silverbane and Ferum Ironfield which provided her with the practice of taking care of those younger than her. The age came when both her cousins went to separate universities and left her alone (metaphorically). So she decided to take up a part time job at a preschool.

She found a vacancy at a preschool close by to her university but it was a hassle to go back and forth from home, school and her job so she kept a look out for rental places. After quite a search, Aurum found some empty rooms at #The-Boarding-House</sub>
